Audit representation includes all aspects from the receipt of the audit notice through the appeals hearing following the submission of a US Tax Court Petition. Representation may include correspondence, telephone communication or face to face meetings with the taxpayer (member) and the auditing agent
Essential Functions

The primary benefit our members receive is Audit Representation for any income tax audit commenced during their period of membership. This includes handling all aspects of communication, from the receipt of the audit notice through the appeals hearing following the submission of a U.S. Tax Court Petition. Our intention is to provide our members with the highest level of representation available, and our goal is that they should never have to meet with the IRS or state tax agency.

  • Manage federal and state tax audit defense case load, which includes:
    • Working with the taxpayer to assist in gathering documents and information
    • Organizing documents and preparing response packages for submission to IRS and state taxing authorities

As a Membership Services Representative, you are the voice of our company, the first point of contact, the first opportunity to wow our members and provide exceptional support to them, and to our audit teams and other departments. Job Qualifications:
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to understand and follow complex processes using computer applications, MS Office products, internet navigation, and data entry. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment is a must. Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in administrative skills such as data entry, filing, copying, telecommunications, etc. 2-3 years of customer service experience working in a call queue environment is preferred.

Essential Functions
  • Documents existing processes and procedures: updates and standardizes existing user documentation and creates new user documentation in web-based formats.
  • Meets with the manager or select members of each department or group and acquires thorough knowledge of each group’s operations and procedures.
  • Collects and accumulates appropriate information for accurate and timely documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Observes protocol and best practice for policies and procedures documentation, formats, and updates.
  • Assists in project research and analysis.
  • Assists in user acceptance testing and training of software.
  • Creates and edits training videos.
  • Projects may include creating manuals, process specifications, process flows, and forms.
Experience and Skills
